It’s a GREAT DAY and WELCOME to my STUDIO.

Do you believe in Unicorns?

Do you believe in Magic?

Where did Unicorns come from?

Are there Unicorns still around?

These questions and others are often asked of Unicorns.

It is said the Unicorns have been around for thousands of years.

The unicorn appeared in early Mesopotamian artworks, and it also was referred to in the ancient myths of India and China. The earliest description in Greek literature of a single-horned (Greek monokerōs, Latin unicornis) animal was by the historian Ctesias (c.

Unicorns are perhaps most notable for their horns, usually portrayed as straight, spiralling single horns. These give them their name, which literally means one horn. The horns are said to have magical powers. Many stories suggest that touching a unicorn’s horn will bring healing or good fortune.

This was especially popular in the middle ages when the wealthy would drink from the horn of a Unicorn to bring them luck and good health.

Unicorns symbolize Divine love, grace, beauty, gentleness, and purity.

Only a truly pure soul can see the unicorn.

In China, it was considered one of the four superior animals of good omen, the others being the phoenix, the tortoise, and the dragon.

A unicorn horn, also known as an alicorn, is a legendary object whose reality was accepted in Europe and Asia from the earliest recorded times. …

The legendary unicorn could never be captured alive, but its symbolic association with virginity made it the symbol of innocence and the incarnation of God’s Word.

No one has proven the existence of unicorns. Scientists would say that Unicorns are not real and that they are part of mythology. “Cultures all around the world do have stories of unicorns from China, to India, to Africa, the Middle East and now the United States,” Adam Gidwitz says

Well that is the story of the Unicorn. Now why did I tell you that?

I would like to re-introduce the BRAND NEW, FIRST TIME EVER  Unicorn Window Art Birthday Kit.

Now taking order for May delivery.

Last week  I outlined this pretty little Unicorn on the window glass ready to paint.

Today we are going to add some colour to bring our lovely Unicorn to life.

I already painted the white background on where I am going to paint the fluorescent colours.   This is necessary to give the fluorescent colour its brilliance and pizzazz.

The fluorescent colours are not included as part of the Unicorn Window Art Birthday Kit but can be purchased in your local art store.

Look at how beautiful our Unicorn is.  You can paint her on your window and leave her there to enjoy and appreciate for years.

Remember to leave me your comments and questions and share this post.

Until the next time
