Santa Claus on Christmas

Once upon a time and not too long ago in a country not too far away lived a little boy named Dimi. Dimi had no mother or no father, no sisters or brothers.  Dimi was all alone and it was Christmas.

It was a beautiful fresh evening as the snowfall covered the earth like a blanket of shimmering white snowy jewels.  The wolves were yelping in the distance as the wind started howling and blowing snow falling in heavy drifting piles everywhere.

Dimi lived in a little cabin all alone with a small fireplace, a bale of hay for a bed and a box for a table. The logs in the fireplace were almost completely gone and Dimi was getting very tired. Dimi had to go out to fetch wood to keep warm over the night until Christmas morning.

Dimi opened the door as the wind blew fearlessly blowing his hat off and sending it across the yard. It was lucky because that is the direction that Dimi had to go. He piled the wood there earlier and the wolves were getting closer.

Dimi made his way across the yard and quickly retrieved enough wood to keep him warm all night. He quickly shut the door behind him keeping the hungry wolves and blowing snow out.

It was Christmas Eve and Dimi had not even had a chance to see Santa or send him his letter this year.  Mom and Dad had left without returning several months ago and he had no one to mail his letter to Santa.

It was a cold and blowy snowy night and he was afraid that Santa didn’t know where Dimi lived.

Dimi fell asleep with tears in his eyes and hope in his heart that Santa would find him.

When Dimi woke in the morning he saw a sight that he could hardly believe.  Inside his  cabin there was a tiny tree that had been decorated for Christmas with Candy Canes, Gumdrops and a beautiful little Angel on the top.

There was a gift all wrapped up with his name on it and was a letter from Santa saying, “Dear Dimi,  After you open your gift, I want you to put on the magic boots I gave you  and bring the Angle from the top of the tree.

She will keep you safe. I want you to come to the North Pole to help me save Christmas. People everywhere are forgetting about the true Spirit of Christmas.

I need you to help me spread Christmas joy and cheer around the world for next year. You and your Angle have a special gift and I need your help to save Christmas” signed Santa Claus.

Dimi named his little Angel Jo and together they travelled to the North Pole to help Santa save Christmas with their special gift.

Dimi and Angel Jo spent the entire year preparing and working with Santa to spread Christmas Joy and Cheer around the world.  Now every year the world is filled with Christmas Joy and Cheer helping Santa save Christmas.
